Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad will hold a press conference at 4 pm today, Monday, 18 December 2023, at the Health Ministry’s Headquarter in Putrajaya, addressing the recent spike in COVID-19 cases. Between 10 December 2023 – 16 December 2023, cases surged to 20,696, marking an 8,000-case increase from the previous week.
In the week of 3 December 2023 – 9 December 2023, Malaysia reported 12,757 cases with 11 casualties, prompting concerns and swift action. Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad will discuss strategies to tackle the surge, potential protocol adjustments, and the government’s broader response.
